Gnomies Garage Sale

Well, we raised $750 for the American Cancer Society at our Garage Sale. We sold some pretty cool stuff, like a 12 string guitar, and some pretty lame stuff, like old shoes and t-shirts.

We were mostly sleep deprived and tired, had some fun, and my house is a DISASTER!!!! I have enough crap leftover in my house to open a junk store.

This was a good experience, but one I will not repeat. Yes, we raised $750, but after renting a truck, spending all day picking stuff up and unloading it at my house, staying up til 3AM organizing and pricing, then getting up at 7AM to get signs ready and posted, and facing the daunting task of the aftermath of other people's junk at my house, I think it was more work than it was worth. I am absolutely exhausted, and I probably could have spent the weekend selling a house.

Anyways, we did have some fun, and it was a good experience for all of us. Not to mention that we found Megan's inner grandma.
