$300 for chuckin' in the limo!!!!!!!!

So, Saturday night was a blast. Megan's birthday party, we rented a sweet limo, the one in the picture! We went to Kirkland, Ballard, the Fremont Troll, the park on Queen Anne, The Sideline in Factoria, then back to my house. It wasn't til then that we discovered poor Jon had puked in the limo!!!!! And, yes, that is a $300 fine. Poor, poor Jon!

That's ok, I spilled Kevin's fancy all over his favorite white shirt. Pretty much at the beginning of the night, too. You can see just a hint of pink on his shirt in the group photo.

We also stopped at a gas station where Kevin bought $25 worth of junk food, to everyone's drunk munchies delight! Then we came home and ate BBQ chicken. Oh, and of course we made April whip up just ONE MORE PITCHER of FANCIES!!!!!!!!! That is, after the two 2-liter bottles of fancies we drank in the limo. People were speculating that we lost one of the 2-liters, but I am pretty sure we drank it. We were using the limo's champagne glasses. Will you hold my fancy?

night snowboarding at Stevens

Note to self: try to be more organized when trying to get to the pass by 8PM. This should not be difficult. People tend to be done with work by 5 or 5:30. This means we should have 2 1/2 to 3 hours to get there. It CAN be done.
Also, buy the ticket when you get there. It is cheaper at 8. I got my ticket in Gold Bar for $17.50 and Kevin got his at the lodge for $6.50.
Anyways, what a great night! The snow was all nice and soft and good! There was next to no one there, so we never had to wait in line and didn't have to worry too much about crashing into people! I got a little more daring and went off in some fun new places.
We had the lodge to ourselves, too. The bartender kept showing off his rapping skills. Alma thought that was pretty cool. That's all I have to say about that.
Poor sleepy Kevin!!!! We didn't get home 'til almost 2AM after dropping off the A-Team! He's going tot have a rough day at work today. I feel bad.
Ok, I'm REALLY taking down my Christmas lights today.

sushi zen
Kevin and I met April and Alma last night up at Sushi Zen. Mmmmmmm!!!!! Best sushi ever! Crouching tuna, hidden shrimp! Yum!
Kyoo was our server and paid for our wine, plus slipped us a shot of 151!
It was April and Alma's anniversary (of when they met). It turned out it was also Salt's birthday, so we went to the Liquid Lime and met up with Salt and Mark for a little karaoke. We had a great time! They put on the worst rendition of Bobby McGee ever heard. It was like the southern hillbilly version. Kevin grabbed the microphone and sang the theme song from the Dukes of Hazzard which eerily fit the music. I alsmost fell over! It was the single most hysterical thing most of us had ever heard.

Happy Hour at the Parlor
I'm meeting Brandy and Julia at the Parlor for Happy hour today. The Parlor is a really cool new bar in downtown Bellevue. It's in the new building across from Bellevue Square. I think it might be my new favorite bar. http://www.parlorbilliards.com/
By the way, I forgot to say how awesome the show was Friday Night. Clumsy Lovers rock! The opening band, Handful of Lovin', was pretty great, too. Scottie B, Shawna, Megan, Kevin and I took a cab home to my house where I made spaghetti and we were up til the wee hours. We threw pop-its at Scottie who was trying to sleep on the wooly bully. Seemed like a great idea at the time.
I really need to take my Christmas lights down. Took Mom and Dad's down yesterday. The canoe is still in the front yard, filled to the top with rain water. That's what 27 days of rain will do, I guess!

SNOWBOARDING ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went snowboarding yesterday with April and Alma! Kevin was there with his friends, but they are all really good and stuck to the big scary runs while I did the same blue run over and over. Kevin did go down with me my first run, though. I was pretty much done with snowboarding after that. Hated it. Did it all wrong, it hurt, I was frustrated. April said she ws going to have me go down on the toe edge. I said "NO!!!!!". And that was that. However, I did it, it wasn't hard, and the next thing you know I was TEARING THINGS UP!!! I was turning from heel edge to toe edge, spinning 360's, racing down the hill, LOVING it!!! I'm junkie now. I wish I'd taken this up YEARS ago! I guess the problem back then was that I really didn't have anyone to go with.
Anyways, had a blast. Went to A-Team's house after for hot tubbing. Kevin joined us. I can't lift my arms today. OUCH!! Worth every ache, though. That was AT LEAST 3 times as fun as not snowboarding.

The Canoe in the Grass

I have decided to have a blog! Yay!
Here's me in my Ms. Claus Apron the day of my Tree Trimming Party. The canoe started out as a funny pirate prop at last year's Halloween Party (where there were 4 of us dressed as pirates). Then it simply HAD to come out for this year's Halloween party. I integrated it into the yard decorations by putting an alien in it. Makes perfect sense to me. After James took his alien back, though, the canoe made no sense. That is, until Christmas time rolled around and I decorated it with Christmas lights. Makes perfect sense again! PHEW!!!

Now it's filled to the rim with rainwater, after our near record breaking rain streak. I really should dump it out and put it away until the next canoe-in-the-front-yard appropriate holiday rolls around.

There you go, now you know why my blog is titled as it is. Check in for more postings from the funnest house on 10th Street!!!!!!
